Types of roller shutter doors
Push-up Door
Push-up operation is known as a hand operation, The weight of the curtain is counterbalanced by the self-coiling action of the outer spring.
The Door is lifted open using handles fitted to the bottom of the t-section, this type is suitable for small openings.
Chain Operated
Chain operated is suitable from 2.5mm upwards. These are operated by a cast-iron chain set and galvanized chain.
Electrical Operation
Electric Operation is recommended for large doors in frequent operation, although it can be specified for any size door. Various operations include standard push button started, key switch control, limit switch, remote control and if required, an electromagnetic brake.

Cover Box
A canopy is constructed of mild steel. It is formed to fit the contours of the end plates and flanged for rigidity. It’s not always necessary to fit a cover-box
